Celia Anne Lake

Information sent to T.Mason on 1 Aug 2012 by Joan Markey. "Celia was the child of Abner Lake, born  about 1813 and died in TIverton, RI on March 13, 1904. He married twice. Celia was the dau of his first wife, Susan Lake. (Yes, her maiden name was also Lake.) Susan was born Jan 22, 1811 and died on Feb 5, 1850. She had been previously married to Abraham Grinnell.  After Susan's death, Abner remarried. So Celia had lots of half-siblings from her parents' marriages. Further confusing things - Abraham Grinnell was married before he married Susan. His first wife was Melintha Borden."
