The 1910 Federal Census lists Walter P. Reed (28) as living in Cordova with his wife Tiny A. (18) and their two children: Charley J. (2), Perney M. (8/12). Also living in the home were brothers Samuel Reed (20) and Randolph Reed (16). Walter was a farmer and Samuel worked in the coal mines. Randolph is also listed as a farmer. Even though Walter is listed as the employer, the land is listed as belonging to Timie.
In 1920 Walter P. Reed (40), farmer is listed with his wife Timey (36). Their children: Charley (13); Purule (9); Lillie (5), Birda (7/12).

Alma Gertie Hambrick
According to the 1920 Walker County Census an Alma Hambrick - daughter of Will and Tillie Hambrick - lived in Precinct #12 - Cordova, AL. She was listed as being 14 yrs. Old, born in Alabama and working as a laborer in a cotton mill. Her father was born in Alabama, but her mother was born in Georgia. Will Hambrick was 40 yrs. Old in 1920 and worked as a miner in a coal mine. Wife, Tillie, was 36 yrs. Old and lived at home with her eight children. Alma's siblings were: Neavie age 17, Florence age 12, Robert age 10, Marshall age 7, Theadore age 5, Ellen age 2 11/12, and Emile age 7/12.
