Stanley C. Williams

Stanley was born March 18, 1934 in St. Joseph, MO to Harvey Clay and Lola Pearl (Mauzey) Williams.

He grew up in Dearborn, MO, and graduated from Dearborn High School in 1952.

Stanley married Donna Louise Marshall on May 28, 1952 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

He moved to Camden Point, MO in 1962, and was a member and deacon of the Camden Point Christian Church. Stanley took an active role in his community, and was a member of the Camden Point Masonic Lodge. He worked as a mechanic for TWA for 36 years, and belonged to United Machinists & Aerospace Workers Local Union. Stanley had many hobbies including: collecting antiques, coins, and guns; gunsmithing, shooting, and reloading; fishing and hunting. He was also an avid Mizzou fan.

He is survived by his son Thomas Williams (Joy Annette) of Springdale, AR, and their children, Kelly and Amy; daughter Deborah Stephens (Brian) of St. Joseph, MO and her son Matthew King, and his son Landon; and daughter Sharla Peters (Doug) of Lee's Summit, MO, and their son Bryan Peters.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brother Robert C. Williams.

A visitation will be held 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Vaughn-Aufranc Funeral Home in Dearborn, MO. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Camden Point Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be given to the American Cancer Society , or the Camden Point Christian Church. Funeral arrangements by Vaughn-Aufranc Funeral Home, Dearborn, MO. (816) 992-3366.
