"Walter Boen, aged 86, of Clarksville died Monday in the Johnson County Regional Hospital. A native of Oark, he was a retired police officer, member of the First Presbyterian Church, Franklin Lodge No. 9, Fort Smith Consistory Club, Scimitar Temple and Clarksville Chapter No. 172, Order of the Eastern Star, where he was past patron.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mildred Bieser Boen; two brothers, T.R. Boen of Clarksville and W.L. Boen of Bakersfield, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Rowley of South Gate, Calif.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Francis King officiating.
Masonic graveside services by Franklin Lodge No. 9 and burial were at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home."

Mildred E. Beiser

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Mildred E. Boen, 92, of Clarksville died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Mascoutah, Ill., daughter of the late Frank and Katy Meyer Bieser, widow of Walter Boen, member of the First Presbyterian Church, and member of the Clarksville Chapter No. 172 Order of the Eastern Star where she was a three-time matron of honor, grand chaplain in 1980, grand representative to California from 1983-85 and served on the board for the Order of Rainbow for Girls.
She is survived by one nephew, Bob Bieser of Dayton, Nev.
Funeral was at 3 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lance Jones officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Beiser, Bill O'Neal, Sam Molinaro, Steve Rinke, Mike Jacobs, and Bud Cagle.


Oscar William Bean

"Oscar W. Bean, 68, of Clarksville died Monday in the Clarksville hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Johnson County and a member of the Methodist Church. He was a rural mail carrier 32 years before retiring in 1955.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Delana Owen Bean; three daughters, Mrs, Francis Poteet of Wooster, Ohio, Mrs. W.R. Hunt, Jr., and Mrs. David Scarborough of Clarksville; two brothers, Clarence Bean and Arch O. Bean of Clarksville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the First Methodist Church with Rev. David Conyers officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home."

Dalaney Isabel Boen

"Mrs. Delana Boen Bean, age 76, died Tuesday in Mickel Nursing Home. She was a native of Johnson County, a member of the Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and the Antioch Extension Homemakers Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frances Poteet of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Mrs. W.R. Hunt, Jr., and Mrs. David Scarborough of Clarksville; three brothers, Willie Boen of Bakersfield, Calif., Walter Boen of Clarksville and Bruce Boen of Fayetteville; one sister Mrs. Beatrice Rowley of Southgate, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) at the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville with the Rev. J. Clarence Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home."
