Charles William Walker

Charles William Walker was born in Mounds, Oklahoma. He was the only son of Ray F. and Pearl Walker.  Charles served in WW II in the Army Air Corps in Germany where he received 4 battle stars.  He retired from the Corps of Engineers after nearly 40 of service.  He is a descendant of the Corey Line and the Founding of Rhode Island. The Corey's were in the Ship Building Trade and Merchants in the early days. Sgt. Philip Corey served in the Revolutionary War and is Listed in the Sons of the American Revolution.  Charles is also a descendant of the Mayflower of 1620.  The passengers were Francis Cooke and Richard Warren, both signed the Mayflower Compact before coming ashore.  


Alpha Malinda Thomas

Alpha was born in White Oak/Vinita. Oklahoma to Claude and Elva Thomas. She graduated from Northeastern State Teachers Collage. After WW II she went to work for Carter Oil Company that later became Exxon Oil. She retired from Exxon and went into teaching in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and retired from there.  She is a descendant of Charles Parke Sr. a Revolutionary War Civil Servant.  She qualifies for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
