Stoffel or Christoph Landenberger

RESEARCHER: Klaus Langer from Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany sent e-mail to T.Mason on 16 Apr 2001. NOTE: documented 1536/1559 in Ebingen. He rent a garden with hemp from the Ebinger church. In the Sitzerland there is a castle and ruins named Landenberg. Perhaps the Ebinger Landenbergers are bastards of the aristocracy von Landenberg family or they are former ownerworkers of the von Landenbergs.

RESEARCHER: Klaus Langer [klang-mail@gmx.de] from Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany sent e-mail to T.Mason on 16 Apr 2001. "He began to study Aug. 22, 1539 at the university of Heidelberg. In 1582/88 he had a quarrel with the pastor of Ebingen and so he refused to go to the Holy Communion. He said, that he would go to communion when he went to Frankfurt."

RESEARCHER: Klaus Langer [klang-mail@gmx.de] from Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany sent e-mail to T.Mason on 16 Apr 2001. "Documented 1474/1517 in Ebingen. 1483-1499 mayor of Ebingen. On 2 April 1498 he had to go with the mayor Beck to the parlament in Stuttgart/Wurttemberg. 1498/99 he owned land in Kaiseringen and sold it on 26 Oct 1500. In 1517 he borrowed money from the hospital."
