DESCENDANTS: Information sent to T.Mason on 26 May 2007 by Anthony Hesling of Canberra, Australia. "Joseph and his family were listed in Australia in the following reference 1836. Source titled "Dictionary of Western Australians 1829 - 1914". Volume 1 Early Settlers, 1829 - 1850. Compiled by: Pamela Statham."
Joseph was a Deputy Assistant Commissary General, so he travelled a lot. In 1830/1831 they were in Tasmania and 1836 in Western Australia. In 1838 they all left West Australia (except my Joseph, who stayed in Australia) per "Harvest" for the Cape (I assume South Africa)."
