A. B. Hardin, 88, died Thursday in the Town House Convalescent Center. Funeral services were Saturday in the Chapel of the Plummer-Fair Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest Wells and Rev. Mel Hardin officiating. Interment was in the Garden of Memories. A lifetime resident of Kerrville, his parents were a pioneer Kerr County family. He was a farmer and merchant and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hatch and Mrs. Harry Hunt, both of Kerrville; two sons, Alton Hardin of Tatum, N. M., and Ervin Hardin of Kerrville; 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Jackie Day was born Jan. 21, 1932 in Palo Pinto, Texas, the son of Thomas Asher and Jessie Mae Bill Workman Day. He lived all his life in Palo Pinto County and was a Baptist.
