Cottonwood --- Services for Lonnie Cowan, 52, of Cottonwood will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cottonwood Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Bob Whitman of the church will officiate. Mr. Cowan died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at his residence after a long illness. Born March 6, 1945, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, he moved to Shasta County in 1950 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a trim grader for Paul Bunyan Lumber in Anderson and a member of Cottonwood Assembly of God Church. Survivors include wife Dianna; a son Darren of Oahu, Hawaii, daughters, Laura Moore of Redding and Karen Perry of Red Bluff; parents Alma Batchelder of Anderson and Lowell Cowan of Cottonwood; brother Larry of Herlong; sisters, Thelma Welstead of Cottonwood, and Velma Phelps of Cottonwood; and five grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Allen and Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.

Cottonwood --- Services for Dianna Lynn Cowan, 47, of Cottonwood will be 7 p.m. Friday at Cottonwood Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Robert Whitman of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, both at Allen and Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson. Mrs. Cowan died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, at her residence. Born March 15, 1950, in Redding, she was a lifelong resident of Shasta County. She was a homemaker and a member of Cottonwood Assembly of God Church. Survivors include son Darren of Honolulu; daughters Laura Moore of Redding and Karen Perry of Red Bluff; parents Arthur and Helen Goff of Anderson; brother Larry Goff of Payette, Idaho, sister Linda McDaniel of Cottonwood; and five grandchildren
