At some time after she and her children went to live with Robert W, her brother and he helped to raise her children. Robert was still single at this time."

Jesse L. Hatcher, 56, of Roswell, died in a local hospital where he had been receiving treatment, this morning following an extended illness. Mr. Hatcher is survived by his widow of Roswell, and a brother in law, Dewey R. Crow, also of Roswell. The body is in care of the Rogers Mortuary pending the arrival of relatives. Alma J. Hatcher

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at South Park Cemetery for Alma Jane Hatcher, 83, of Mesa, Ariz., who died Friday at Golden Mesa Nursing Home in Mesa.
The Rev. Paul Thompson of South Manor Baptist Church will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Ballard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hatcher born on July 24, 1902, in Cleburne, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Curtis [Carlton] Crow, both now deceased.
She was married in 1926 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
A resident of Roswell from 1940 to 1981, Mrs. Hatcher moved to Arizona after that. She was a practical nurse and was retired from the Osteopathic Hospital in Roswell.
Survivors include two daughters, Minnie E. Bell of Gilbert, Ariz., and Carla J. Nelson of Ruidoso; four brothers, Dewey Crow of Cathedral City, Calif., Robert Crow and Jack Crow, both of Wichita Falls, and Billy Ray Crow of Santa Fe; two sisters, Eula White of Iowa Park, Texas, and Patsy McDonald of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren."
