RESEARCHER: Information sent to T.Mason on 4 Jan 2005 by Steve Treanor. "Contra Costa Times, March 30, 1988 "Raymond D. Bartlett, 79, who was the builder and original owner of Muir Lodge in Martinez, has died at Sun Valley Manor in Pleasant Hill. A retired farmer and builder, he died Monday. He was a native or Orafino, Idaho, and lived in Martinez for over 40 years. He served in the navy during World War II and was a member of the Concord Elks and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Letitial Ball Bartlett of Martinez, son Jack Raymond Bartlett of Napa, five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. There will be no services. Arrangements are by Connoly and Tayler Chapel of Martinez. The family prefers donations to a favorite charity."

"Contra Costa Times, April 29, 1991 "Letitia Mary Jane Batlett, Martinez, January 8, 1909 - April 27, 1991' Letitia Mary Jane Bartlett, 82, a homemaker, and lifelong Martinez resident, died Saturday at at Mt. Diablo Medical Center in Concord. She was a member of the Martinez Senior Citizens Club and St. Catharine's Carholic Church in Martinez. She was a 1927 graduate of Alhambra High School in Martinez. Survivors include her son, Jack Bartlett, of Napa, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Her husband, Raymond Bartlett, died in 1988."
