The maiden name of Margaret (Fondren) Quinn has not been proven, but in Mona A. Wamick papers of 8/11/95 pg 8-A She received info from L.M."Buster" Quin, who received it from John E. Fondren of Marietta, GA. believe that John Fondren c1730/40 d. 1789 Mar: Elendor Smith was a brother of Margaret (Fondren) Quinn.

Spartanburg Co, SC Deed Bk G, p 220/21. Grant dtd 5 Mar 1795 was issued to Charles Morgan by the Gov. Charles Pickney of 424 acres of land lying on the West side of Broad River.

1790 Census, York Co., SC.

A record of 1798 shows that Charles Morgan was living in the old 96 Dist. His property was 1798 show that Charles MORGAN was living in the old 96th District. His property was bounded by his brother-in-law, John Sarratt, Sr.

THE SARRATT FAMILY, By Nobel Sarratt, Ed. c1897.
A Deed Record dtd 6 Oct 1800, shows Charles Morgan sold some property to bro-in-law John Sarratt, Sr., Spartanburg Co, SC, Deed bk G, p 220/1. Conveys for consideration of $120 some 424 acres of lanad lying on the west side of Broad River.
