Following was originally posted on 3 Jul 2009 in the Saudere Family Tree on Ancestry.com by WSauder. "Peter Quin served as a private in the 8th Virginia Regiment during the Revolutonary War. Peter enlisted in Captian Thomas Berry's Company of the 8th Virginia Regiment of foot soldiers which was commanded by Col. Abraham Bowman. Muster cards list his term of enlistment as 2 years. His company muster roll for May & June 1777 has in the remarks area that he was sick at Morristown and that his enlistment time expires the 10th of April 1778."
