Joshua Weeks

RESEARCHER-DESCENDANTS: Information was sent to T.Mason on 11 Dec 2001 by Randy Weeks. I have been trying to maintain the Weeks cemetery which is located about 1 mile from where I live. In fact, my dad was born in one of the houses mentioned... . The cemetery is located at the rear of 143 Bakerville Road in Dartmouth, Ma. It is the final resting place of Joshua Weeks, his children, and his grandchildren. Physically, it is located between the homes of the father, Joshua, located at 117, and the son, William, located at 167, both of which still remain. Joshua farmed the land which is now being broken up into house lots.

Birth: (1,2,3) 22 Oct 1772. (1) s/o George Borden/Rebecca Church of Fall River, MA. (2,3) s/o George BORDEN/Rebecca, Freetown, MA.

Marriage: to Martha __: (3) A Stephen BORDEN & wife Martha had children b. Freetown, MA, 1813-1825.

CONFLICT: This is another instance of an error by Hattie Borden Weld. She incorrectly attributes children born to Stephen Borden (b. 22 Oct 1772) and his wife Martha as children born of Stephen Borden (b. 17 Jan 1795) and his wife Prudence.
